# Jupiter and 119 Standard License Standard 1.0, 2026-10-25. This license is between Kris Kowal, who drew the font and owns it ("I"), and the licensee who bought it ("you"): one individual or one organization, as chosen at purchase. "The font" means the Jupiter and 119 font files I deliver to you (OTF, TTF, WOFF2 and WOFF), and any updates I give you under this license. By installing or using the font, you agree to these terms. ## What you may do 1. **One licensee.** The license is for you alone: one individual, or one organization (a company, a nonprofit, a school) and the people working for it. It does not extend to a parent company, sister companies or clients. A client who will use the font needs a license of their own. 2. **Desktop.** Up to **two users** may install and use the font on their own computers: you, or two people in your organization. For more users, buy another license or ask me for a larger one. 3. **Web.** Embed the WOFF2 or WOFF files with CSS `@font-face` on websites you own or control, up to **10,000 page views a month** in all. For more, ask me for a larger license. Host the files yourself or with a hosting service working for you, and take reasonable care that they are not offered for download (for example, no download link to the font files). 4. **Things you make.** Use the font without limit in static images, graphics, logos, documents, PDFs, print and physical products, for any purpose, commercial or not. What you make with it is yours. You may embed the font in a PDF so that it displays and prints, but not so that readers can extract it or use it to edit the text. Video, film, streaming and broadcast are not covered: see below. 5. **Printers and helpers.** You may give a copy to a printer or a contractor to finish a job for you, if they use it only for that job and delete it afterward. 6. **Changes for yourself.** You may convert or modify the font (subset it, add a glyph, adjust the spacing) for your own use under this license. A modified font is still covered by this license, and you may not share it or call it Jupiter and 119. ## What you may not do - Share, give away, sell, lend, rent or sublicense the font files, whole or in part, modified or not, alone or in a bundle, or make them available for others to download. - Embed the font in apps, games, ebooks (EPUB and the like), software, devices or any product that lets others use the font itself, without a separate license from me. - Use the font in a service or template that lets other people set their own text in it (a custom-text product, a font generator) without a separate license. - Use the font in video, film, streaming or broadcast. That is outside this license and needs another license from me. - Use the font software, its outlines or its rendered glyphs to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine learning models, or include any of them in a training set. - Transfer this license to anyone else. ## Ownership and ending I keep the copyright and all rights in the font not granted here. This license is non-exclusive, worldwide and without end. It ends if you break its terms: then stop using the font and delete every copy. What you made and published lawfully before then may stay as it is. ## No warranty The font is provided "as is", without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. I am not liable for any damages arising from its use; if I am ever found liable, my liability is limited to the price you paid. ## Other licenses For more users or page views, apps, ebooks, video, film, streaming or broadcast, or anything this license does not cover, write to me through the contact on the shop's policies page, .
