Jupiter and 119
Font (OTF, TTF, WOFF2, WOFF)
by Kris Kowal · 2026 · version 1.0
A display face traced and extrapolated by Kris Kowal from the hand-painted lettering on the two locomotives that met at Promontory Summit in 1869: the Central Pacific's Jupiter and, for the figures 1 and 9, the tender of Union Pacific No. 119.
Capitals only: lowercase letters set the capitals, so text keeps its case when copied. Figures 0 to 9, proportional and tabular, and the common punctuation.
